SPATIAL REASONiNG SKILLS  are being identified and recognized as a key component to success in math and science. Adapting, adjusting and developing our teaching so as to focus students visually, spatially….. breaks down the fear, builds confidence.

At the SWATCA session we tinkered with 3D objects: tracing, building, understanding the vocabulary. Students of all ages should be constantly challenged to trace, fold, cut, roll from plasticine and build from straws and string 3 d objects. Check these videos out: http://nrich.maths.org/6307
